Would you like a better way to get your pay? The University of Southern California has a new enhancement
to our Direct Deposit program, called CashPay, which might interest you.
What is CashPay? "CashPay" is a brand new option that offers you a safe and convenient
way to receive your pay.
- Make purchases everywhere Visa is accepted.
- Make purchases at pinned point-of-sale terminals at any retail, grocery, convenience store, gas station,
or US Post Office.
- Withdraw cash at virtually any ATM.
- No check-cashing hassles of waiting in lines or high fees.
- Customer Service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Advantages of traditional Direct Deposit (to your checking and/or savings account(s)) and CashPay:
- It's quick and easy--just sign up, and your pay will be in your account by 9am on payday.
- No more standing in line at the bank on payday to deposit your check.
- No need to carry around large amounts of cash. Take what you need when you need it.
- No more worries about lost or stolen paychecks, or high check cashing fees.
- Many banks offer incentives (such as free checking) if you sign up for direct deposit--check with
your individual bank for details.
Options:
- You may split your deposit, by percentage, to multiple accounts of your choice in different banks.
- You may sign up for CashPay as well (see below).
- The same Direct Deposit Application or Cancellation Form
is used to set up direct deposit for both Payroll and Disbursement Control checks.
Again these are just a sample of the many benefits of CashPay. If you do not want a traditional bank
account or simply do not want your pay deposited into your existing account, then sign up for a CashPay account.
