As soon as you log onto any of the Employee Online Services Systems, you will immediately notice a brand new look. This redesign is consistent with USC's Web branding identity and a number of dramatic changes have been implemented to create an online environment that is easier to use and more convenient in which to access your information.
Check out the new features.

Stationary Sidebar

You will find a new sidebar of site navigation links over to the left side of the page. These are the same links that used to be located at the bottom of every page. You used to have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to access these links, which can quickly get tiresome if the current web page is particular long. Moving them towards the top of the page gives you easier access to the common tasks you want to access.
As you begin to use the site and scroll down the page, you'll notice that this site navigation sidebar does not scroll off the page, but remains fixed on the same location on the page. This means that the site's common functions will always be in easy reach without have to perform extra mouse work.

To highlight one of these common functions, the "Logout" link is located both in the sidebar and near the top underneath the site banner.
It's important to logout of the system properly every time. Just closing the browser without logging off properly may keep your session open for others to come by and bring up.
Printer-Friendly Pages

If you look below the USC logo on the far upper right corner, you will see a new feature: a "Print Page" icon and link.
This icon & link performs the exact same function as your browser's "Print" command but appears on the page for your convenience.

What is special about the new print feature is that it minimizes unnecessary printed items. The sidebar is eliminated to give your printed content the full benefit of the printed page's width. And the condensed top banner takes up a smaller footprint than the full-sized banner while still retaining the site's identity.
